Kent Place Summer Camp Holds Open House

Kent Place Summer Camp will hold an Open House on Saturday, March 2 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Information sessions about our new Preschool Camp offerings, Day Camps, Passport Program, Creative Arts Workshop, CIT Programs and Summer Academy will be held in the McDermott-Wight Dining Hall on campus. The directors of each camp will be available to answer questions and families will be able to tour the campus.

Kent Place Summer Camp offers exciting programs for boys and girls, ages 3 through 15. Day camps offer sports, games, swimming, creative enrichment and special events. Middle School campers can attend our Creative Arts Workshop, which offers fine arts, crafts and sports, or the newly improved Passport Program, which combines the best of Day Camp and the Creative Arts Workshop. Our Summer Academy program has new even more exciting choices, including classes such as “Acting Workshop” and “Desktop Publishing Workshop.” A half-day camp for Nursery, Pre-K and Kindergarten campers, and after-camp childcare are also available.
Our 26-acre campus houses regulation turf playing fields, tennis courts, field house, air conditioned classrooms and dining hall, computer labs and an arts center. Campers are well supervised by a qualified staff of directors, teachers and experienced counselors. Camp dates for this summer are June 10 - August 23. Our two enrichment classes, High Achievers (Grades 3–5) and Success for Girls in Middle School (girls entering Grades 6 and 7) will be held the week of August 19.
